Quiet back country roads where the sun shines, the canola glows and the sheep are your spectators. Nothing but the sound of your occaisional click of the gears, a magpie and maybe a tractor in the field. Head north and you have Clunes, Daylesford and Talbot. Head west toward Learmonth, east towards the rolling hills around Mollingghip or south to tick off Mt Warrenheip, Mt Buninyong or laps around Ballarat's Lake Wendouree. The roads are popular with Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club and the Eureka Vets Cycling Club who hold many races around Creswick during the year, including the Fred Icke Handicap.
Your options are endless. Just one problem - which way first?
